About Nathasha
I graduated from Management Science and Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2015, and I am currently pursuing another degree in Industrial Engineering. I love math and have taught many students over the years. In high school, I didn't have a white board, but I would use a mirror as if it was an erasable board and tutor my classmates in trigonometry, linear algebra, and algebra. I also taught in local high schools and continued to tutor while in college. Now, I teach introductory college algebra to an acquaintance during the weekends, and it is what I look forward to the most each week. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and can teach in both languages.

As a teacher, I try to find different ways to explain the same concept so students can familiarize themselves with the idea from multiple perspectives and use the processes they are most comfortable with. I also like to ensure students understand the material by asking them short questions either verbally or in written form throughout the class. I like to pause for questions and provide anonymous ways to submit questions at the end of classes that we can use to review in future classes. I recognize it might take repetition and rest to truly learn something so reviewing is always important to me. Finally, I love to gather feedback so I can continue to improve my lessons.
