About Kovidh
Before high school, I always believed math was just about complex formulas and never-ending calculations. Not fun, right? But everything changed when I realized that math is much more than that it’s about problem-solving, logical thinking, and understanding the process behind every solution. It’s not about jumping to an answer that doesn’t make sense — it’s about learning why something works, not just memorizing how to do it. That’s the beauty of math. Once I understood the "why," everything started to click —and I began to enjoy it. I want to help my students experience that same positive shift in mindset and build confidence in their own ability to tackle challenging problems. I’m Kovidh — a recent VCE graduate (ATAR 96.20, scaled 45 in Math Methods) and current student at RMIT studying Civil Engineering and Business. I offer flexible, online math tutoring for Years 6–12, including VCE Methods and General Math. My goal is to make math make sense — and build your confidence on your personal math journey.

I believe in making math clear, logical, and genuinely understandable and most importantly enjoyable. I break down concepts step-by-step using visual tools such as diagrams on virtual whiteboards, worked examples, and targeted strategies to build real confidence. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and goals, whether they’re catching up, consolidating, or aiming for top marks. I usually aim to end with a challenging problem or two (5–10 minutes) to stretch high-achievers and build deeper thinking on top of the basics. I also support students who want to learn ahead of their class to feel more prepared and in control. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, flexible, and focused on class topics, revision, or SAC prep. I’m a 96.20 ATAR graduate with a scaled 45 in Math Methods, currently studying Civil Engineering (Hons)/Business at RMIT. I tutor Years 6–12 students, with a focus on VCE General Math and Methods.
