My teaching methodology is based on using examples to illustrate concepts. As I am a student myself, I realize that students want to know how to solve problems in a test setting. Generally, students are interested in material that they will be tested on during their exams. I provide systematic explanations and I focus on why methods are being done as they are. I believe that a strong foundational understanding of a subject is the key to solving more complex problems.

Matthew has always been so good at Maths. He really puts a lot of effort in what he does. I definitely recommend him as he is one amazing tutor!
Matthew is a self motivated young man who's passionate about learning and teaching others. He's kind, gentle and attentive. He will explain things as clearly and expertly as only someone of his calibre can! You will not regret learning from this lovely young man.
I’ve known Matthew since the day he was born.. No, I’m not his father. I am his uncle, and a proud one at that. I’ve seen Matthew go through the toughest times and every time he gets back up, keeps his chin high and fights on..
He is the smartest dude I know.. Like really smart.. Sheldon level smart.. What he does with numbers is beyond 99% of people’s abilities. Unlike Sheldon, Matthew has great people skills. I’ve seen him tutor his brother and sister. It blows my mind how much patience he has and how he can explain complicated things so that even a nutcase like me can understand.View more recommendations
