About Charlie
Teaching was something that I had always wanted to do. I went to university and gained my degree as well as my PGCE to allow me to do this. While I was teaching within the schools, I began tutoring on the side as well. The more tutoring I did, the more I realised that I preferred tutoring as it was more personal and it was a way to get to know your students better. Because of my life outside of the office, teaching was something that didn’t fit into it anymore, so I now work within the equine industry and tutor on the side. This means I still get the pleasure of teaching, but I have the flexibility which allows me to still do the horses, which are my first love.

I am quite laid back in my teaching approach as I do not want it to be too serious. I want you to be able to learn freely and at your own pace. I want it to be quite student-led to allow you to gain whatever it is that you want from the sessions. We can focus on whatever it is that you are wanting to look at and I can make sure that we are thinking about what it is that you are wanting out of the sessions.
