About Maria

As an experienced educator, I believe that great teaching empowers students not only to master content, but to build confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning habits. I take pride in providing high-quality, structured instruction while ensuring every student feels supported, motivated, and capable of success. My approach is built on clarity, consistency, and compassion—I guide students toward strong academic performance while nurturing resilience, critical thinking, and a positive mindset.

About the lesson

My Teaching Method and Techniques

I follow a student-centered teaching approach, focusing on understanding each learner’s strengths, needs, and pace. My methods include:

Active learning: discussions, guided practice, and real-world examples

Scaffolding: breaking lessons into manageable steps and gradually increasing complexity

Differentiated instruction: adapting activities and materials for each student’s learning style

Formative feedback: continuous, constructive feedback to help students reflect and improve

Use of multimedia and technology: interactive slides, videos, online quizzes, and collaborative tools

Inquiry-based learning: encouraging students to ask questions, explore, and problem-solve independently

My goal is to develop critical thinkers, confident communicators, and independent learners.

My Typical Lesson Plan

Warm-up / Review (5–10 mins)
Quick review of previous lesson or activity to activate prior knowledge

Learning Objectives (2–3 mins)
Clear goals for what students will achieve by the end of the lesson

Concept Explanation / Demonstration (10–20 mins)
Presentation of new content using examples, stories, and modeling

Guided Practice (10–15 mins)
Students practice new skills with teacher support

Independent Practice / Task (10–20 mins)
Activities, exercises, or real-world application tasks

Assessment / Reflection (5–10 mins)
Exit ticket, short quiz, sharing session, or feedback

Homework / Enrichment (as needed)
Practice tasks or project-based activities to reinforce learning
