I am a semi retired adjunct college instructor in composition; tutor for dissertations, masters' theses; freelance writer, editor, copyeditor; tutor in English grammar and usage; All of these have been my profession for two decades. I would consider aiding students in their studies as the most rewarding experience of my life. I continue to be in communication with several former students.

With degrees in English, journalism, and education, I have found this combination of knowledge to be exceedingly useful in teaching and tutoring students who are seeking advancement in their academic lives. Having taught college in freshman English composition, speech, English language arts, I have found these uniquely productive in aiding students to learn the basics of actually putting thoughts into constructive writing, the keystone to all of college credit courses. Primarily, I model the methods study, allow students to work in groups to comprehend the methods, and, subsequently, incorporate these techniques in their individual future writing. These formulas provide the groundwork for written communication.
