About Renee
I have worked as a governess and private tutor for nearly 18 years in several different countries. I understand what important role culture plays in cross-cultural teaching. Most of my work has been with students who learn English as a foreign language and I understand that patients is very important. In my free time I love reading memoirs and writing articles for various websites. I speak English Afrikaans and German fluently.

I love what I do and that reflects in my body language and communication skills, aka verbal language. The lessons are not merely about how much we can push in during a session, but more about engaging with my students, helping them feel comfortable to speak even when it may seem daunting. My aim is not for a student to „have“ to come to class, but to want to come to class!
