About Neo
Hello! I'm Neo, a final-year BA student at Walter Sisulu University, majoring in English (Linguistics and Literature) and History.
Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I have experience tutoring university students. I believe learning becomes much easier when difficult concepts are explained in simple, practical ways. I don't just help students prepare for exams, I help them truly understand the subject so they can approach classes, assignments and tests with confidence. Whether you're struggling with English, Literature, Linguistics, essay writing or History, I will work with you patiently and tailor every lesson to your individual learning style and pace. My goal is simple, to help every student leave each lesson feeling more confident, capable and motivated than when they arrived. I believe that with the right guidance, encouragement and support, every student has the potential to succeed.

Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to suit the individual student's learning style, pace and academic goals. My teaching approach is patient, interactive and encouraging. Rather than asking students to memorise information, I focus on helping them understand concepts clearly so they can apply their knowledge confidently in assignments, tests and examinations. I teach in English and create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions without fear of making mistakes. I break complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations using practical examples. My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when they arrived. My lessons are suitable for high school learners, university students and anyone looking to improve their English language, Literature, Linguistics or academic writing skills. Whether you need help preparing for an important exam, writing stronger essays or building confidence in your studies, I am committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. As a current university student, I understand the challenges learners face because I have experienced them myself. My child really struggled with English, by struggle I mean failing. I had lost all hope of my son getting better at English until a friend introduced me to Neo. Neo was still in grade 9 at that time I had my doubts about her as she was really young but she really surprised me, after 3 sessions my son had to write a test and he got 70%. From 20% to 70%.
