About Magda
When I was doing GCSE'S and A Levels I found that a lot of tutors and teachers did not value creativity and unique approaches to questions. It just took one teacher who taught me to embrace creativity and a unique sense of style, and my whole approach to learning English changed. I want students to feel like they can be themselves and be more than capable of doing well, without having to force themselves to write like the sample answers given to them.

I as a tutor focus on finessing and perfecting the approach of the student, rather than changing their learning or writing style. I believe it is more important to allow an individual to approach questions or essays with their own flare, there is no binary right or wrong in English, which allows me to guide the student according to the mark scheme whilst allowing their creativity and uniqueness to flourish. I am flexible when it comes to lesson length depending on the student's needs, whether it be 30 min run-throughs of practice essays or 1h sessions with those who require a bit more help. I often find resources for my students out of tutor time which can be a additional help especially around exam time.
Although I primarily focus on Literature, I can also teach English Language.

"How to Essay write" session
Breaking down of the mark scheme
How to Approach Questions (specific questions)
Working with Unseens
Grammar, sentence structure improval.
How to revise for English outside of tutoring
