About Evelyn
I have just had a gap year, I worked for 4months and then travelled for 6! I achieved A*'s in history and English literature at A-Level. Alongside my A-Levels I helped tutor pupils at school, aiding them with GCSE coursework and exam practice. For me doing past paper questions is a key way of improving and a great revision technique. It helps you to hone in on what exactly is being asked of you by the exam boards, enabling you to understand and respond according to the mark schemes. When tutoring previously I began by working through questions with students and then asking them to write up a full answer (not under timed conditions). I then mark this and we discuss the strong points and the areas which potentially need a little more work. I then set timed pieces of work as I think it is very important to garner the ability to write under pressure.
