I am an undergraduate in Film Studies and English BA offering some basic skills in English for children that struggle to grasp the basics of English as a subject. I have been teaching relatives in basic English and Maths for over three years now and have watched the successfully pass their GCSE's

My teaching method is to speak to the student about the fundamentals of the chosen area we are working on. I will then talk them through a working example that we will discuss together. Following this, I will supply worksheets for them to complete on the chosen topic. Any areas of difficulties will be worked through along with me, until they gain a perfect understanding on what we are talking about. After talking through many examples of them, I will either ask them to give a summary of the topic, or I will give them a short quiz on the topic.
