About Ashleigh
I am driven to help students reach their full potential, I find pride when my students at my part-time job flourish and reach milestones they once thought they would not reach.
I always try to relate to my students in some way, I discuss with them why their opinions are important, especially in essay-based discussions for persuasive essays. Lots of students are unsure about the structure of essays, and believe that their opinions should not be brought into them; however, this is always a good addition to an essay!

My approach to teaching is that it should be a fun experience where the students are able to enjoy learning. Typically, lessons are 60 minutes. I have 3 years experience as an English tutor, and I can teach all ages.
Within English tutoring, I specialize in handwriting, spelling (phonics and patterns to determine spelling), punctuation, grammar, and essays.
I have skills with kids who have ADHD (I have found ways to help myself focus on tasks with my ADHD), and dyslexia.
