Lessons with me are not just about getting a grade up. My focus is on building confidence as a writer and reader.
Each session is catered toward the needs of the student, but I begin each one with a writing warm-up. A few minutes out of our time together is set aside so your student can exercise their creativity. Not only does this take some of the pressure off of writing, but it also helps to identify where your student is struggling. Spelling? Vocabulary? Syntax? From there, we work outwards.
I can build lessons around students at all levels, but specifically love to work with seventh to twelfth graders.
