About Maria
Hello, my name is Maria. I am a professional ballet dancer with the National Opera of Ukraine and have always had a passion for transmitting my knowledge to my students. My journey began at the age of ten when I started training at a professional ballet school in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have had the privilege of training in the Vaganova method under some of the most respected ballet masters and dancers in the field, and I eventually graduated with a high honor diploma in choreography. I spent four years training in Brussels, Belgium, further perfecting my craft, and it is where I began teaching all levels, from children to adult ballet, amateurs to professionals. I have experience teaching various classes, adapted to each individual student, ranging from classical ballet to stretching and Pilates. I am dedicated to cultivating confidence, resilience, and a deep respect for the art of ballet in every class! Fluent in English, Russian, and even some French!

Perfect! My 11 year old old daughter really loved her lesson with Maria. She said Maria was kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and she wanted more lessons with her (high praise from an 11 year old!). For my part, I appreciated how flexible and fast Maria was to respond; and that Maria also considered and proposed strength exercises to prevent injuries (as a parent, I really did appreciate that!).

I truly recommend Her to anyone who wants to develop their classical ballet technique and love for dance.I had Adult Ballet lessons with Maria and it was an amazing experience! She is a true professional at what she does, Maria is very attentive and open, she is always ready to help and correct some steps. The qualities mentioned above are what I value the most, therefore I think Maria is a wonderful teacher!
Maria and I were working together in Brussels. I had the chance of seeing her teach and was impressed by her knowledge, patience and professionalism with students of any age. She absolutely loves what she does and it shows. Students were improving rapidly and I could see a great communication and bond. I recommend her to any ballet student that wishes to take it a step further !
