About Gurdev
I am a current University student who completed my foundation course, to further apply for Medicine in 2022. During my A-Levels, I tutored students from Year 7 to Year 11. This allowed me to be aware of the latest curriculum of each subject and I understand the importance of this as this is one of the ways to achieve success.

My lessons will typically be 1 hour, however, we can tailor them to suit the student's availability. To start with, I use a diagnostic test and then tailor my lessons to suit the student's learning styles. I believe this helps the student to grasp the knowledge quickly and understands it well. I prepare the lesson materials similar to exam-style which is crucial for students to score higher grades. I make quizzes for every lesson to start and end with that tell me about students' prior knowledge as well as what the student has learnt in the lecture so that we can build it up later in revision sessions. Giving out homework to finish in their own time, is another way I use for students to understand the topic well enough.
My aim will be to impact children’s lives and change how they view learning.

Gurdev is an exceptional and attentive person who strives in making sure her students get the best grades possible. She is very thorough in her approach to teaching and thoughtful in her communication; always very understanding of the needs of her students. She makes sure her students are aiming above their target grades, pushing them to the best of their ability, slowly progressing them to achieve this - quality over quantity.
Gurdev helped to tutor two of my younger sisters both primary and GCSE. My sister has now received a grade 9 in maths, thanks to her amazing teaching and extraordinary and unique ways of explaining different concepts!
