About Leon
I am a current gap year student who will be attending Sheffield medical school afterwards. I believe that the best way to teach is by breaking the theory of a topic down into smaller chunks, and by using practice questions to ensure the student is able to consolidate and properly understand the theory. This also ensures there are no further large patches of understanding later down the line. I have spent the past 2 years working as a squash coach, teaching students of all different ages. This has developed my ability to teach a wide range of students and understand the different difficulties they may face when approaching different situations or trying to problem solve, which I believe is very transferable to tutoring. I want to tutor as there is nothing more satisfying than that feeling when a student makes a breakthrough!

Leon has been a great tutor and such a great help. My youngest son was having a hard time with his IGCSE Biology and starting to fall behind. Leon really helped break down the harder topics so my son could understand the theory and concepts behind it, to the point he's even been predicted an 8!
For my eldest, Leon has helped her get to grips with AS level Biology making it seem all too easy.
