Luca is one of our best Italian tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Luca

I taught A level and GCSE Geography at Campbell Harris College (sixth form college in West London) for three years. I also supported Italian spoken language examinations by running the oral exams.

I also worked for about three years as private tutor through Holland Park Tuition with > 20 students, supporting and motivating them towards A level and GCSE exams, mostly in Geography, but also in Mathematics, and Statistics (exam boards: Edexcel, AQA, and OCR). I followed a few of these students over periods of up to two years and most of them achieved very good grades, including A and A*, at the end of their GCSE or A level.

I designed and delivered lectures (for example for the Kids4Energy EU-funded project), tutorials, seminars, demonstrated field, laboratory and PC based activities, and assessed students’ work (e.g. numerous essays).

At UCL, I taught and provided pastoral care to >150 undergraduate and MSc students on global environmental change, human ecology, statistical analyses. Here I also obtained a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant qualification (teaching portfolio available upon request).

About the lesson

At Campbell Harris Tutors I gave standard lessons on the white board, marked numerous practice exam papers, organised discussions of subject matter as well as a fieldtrip. My teaching philosophy entails creating learning communities to develop students’ transferrable skills, such as evidence-based critical thinking and argumentative oral and written communication.

I trained with Luca in the U.S. for over a year. His coaching skills are superb. He is is very good at observing every aspect of your game including technique and strategy. He incorporates his observations into the training in fun and effective ways. My game was stagnant for years until I met Luca. His passion and love for the game are contagious. Thanks to my training with Luca my game is much better and stronger now. I recommend his services without hesitations.
