About Julia

I have great experience teaching ESL: I have Taught English in South Korea working with students from 5-15 years old. Where I created lesson plans based on understanding rather than memorization. I focus primarily on writing, grammar, and vocabulary. I believe writing a language is the key to understanding and speaking fluently. In college I interned/ Taught ESL to adult language learners for Southwest Solutions in Detroit. I worked on teaching English in order to benefit adults in the business world.

About the lesson

B.A. from Wayne State University with major in English, minor in both history and Spanish.
Took extensive coursework in education and teaching methods. In the process of completing my masters in English from Oakland University.

I believe the two most important factors in learning a language are patience and practice.
