About Tamanna
Hi, I’m Tamanna, and I’m thrilled to share the joy of Bollywood dance with you! I am a graduate in Indian classical Dance after undergoing training ever since I was 10 years old. Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and being a coach for the Legion Dance Team at the University of Exeter is such an exciting experience. Teaching and performing with my students is so rewarding, especially seeing everyone have fun, grow in confidence, and shine on stage.
I love working with all age groups, from kids as young as 7 to adults. Each age brings something special to class—kids bring so much energy and creativity, while adults bring dedication and passion. My goal is to make every class fun, welcoming, and full of great moments where we all enjoy dancing together. No matter your level, we’ll learn step by step and celebrate the magic of Bollywood music and movement. Come join me, and let’s dance, learn, and create unforgettable memories!

Welcome to an exciting world of Bollywood dance! As a passionate coach for the Legion Dance Team at the University of Exeter, I take pride in creating a vibrant and welcoming space where everyone feels inspired to move and express themselves. My classes are filled with energy, laughter, and a shared love for the art of dance.
Every week, I lead engaging 1 to 1.5-hour sessions tailored to accommodate all dancer levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned performers. My teaching approach is centered around breaking down each step with care, making even the most complex moves easy to master. I blend musicality, expressive storytelling, and cultural insights to ensure each student connects deeply with the dance.
I’ve had the joy of choreographing and performing with my students on stage, watching them shine with confidence and excitement. With a dance graduation in the Indian classical form, 9 years of training and extensive experience working with both children (ages 7 and above) and adults, I know how to nurture growth and creativity in dancers of all ages. Whether you're looking to learn for fun, fitness, or performance, my classes offer something special for everyone.
