About Soumya
My journey into yoga began during the COVID period when I was working in the corporate world and struggling with imbalance, stress, and being overweight. Stepping onto the mat in Rishikesh transformed my life and helped me reconnect with my body, breath, and inner self. Since then, yoga has become my path of healing and purpose. I have also had the opportunity to share yoga with a wider audience through the national television network NDTV as part of their morning Fit India program.
My intention is to guide students of all levels—whether beginners or experienced practitioners—toward a deeper connection with themselves. I believe yoga is more than physical exercise; it is a path toward awareness, healing, and purposeful living.
Through my classes, I hope to create a supportive global community rooted in mindfulness, authenticity, and connection. My mission is to help people discover their inner strength and embrace yoga as a lifelong journey toward balance, well-being, and self-realization.

I offer classes rooted in the traditional Ashtanga yoga Mysore lineage through my direct study with renowned master B. N. S. Iyengar. As a 500-hour internationally certified yoga teacher with teaching experience in India and Europe, including Vienna, I offer personalized online sessions to integrate breath, alignment, strength building and mindful progression. Each class is adapted to the individual student, helping build flexibility, stability, and a deeper awareness through authentic, safe and transformative practice that improves flexibility, builds strength and deepens inner awareness.

Details
My session investment reflects years of dedicated practice, traditional training and international teaching experience across India and Europe. I have had the privilege of guiding students from diverse backgrounds and also sharing yoga nationally through television NDTV Fit India morning program.
Each session is a personalized practice designed according to the student’s body, level and intention, integrating traditional Ashtanga principles, breath awareness, strength and mindful alignment and transformation .
For students who wish to deepen their practice through consistency and commitment, 5-hour and 10-hour session packages are available.
