About Marianne

I received my Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Louisville. I have taught math at every level from elementary, middle school/junior high to undergraduate college. My strength is in my patience and my ability to explain a process in multiple ways until the "light comes on."

About the lesson

I am a firm believer in finding the way a student learns and using that to help them find success. I am patient and confident that I can discover the key for each student. I've had years of experience both in the classroom and in one-on-one settings at all levels of mathematics. I can help you ease your worries and find success!

Perfect! Marianne is very experienced and patient with my ADHD teen. He says she makes math so easy to understand. She is punctual and flexible. Would not know what I would do without her.

Marianne's response
I truly enjoyed our first session and am looking forward to continuing to work with Peyton. He's a bright, attentive, and personable young man who does well with one-one-one instruction. I see great things ahead for him.

I think Marianne is a trustworthy teacher because I know her as trustworthy friend and parent. I have known Marianne for 40 years and have witnessed her transition from student to teacher to parent and she has been constant in all these roles. I am an experienced special education teacher with 25 years experience in the classroom and I would trust Marianne with any of my students as she has proven herself to retain high standards in all of her roles. I believe any student that works with Marianne is lucky indeed!
