About Nina
I began tutoring almost three years ago, and did so full time for the past year, now beginning my studies at the University of Sheffield. I have fostered a collaborative, creative approach, and students appreciate my enthusiastic nature. This support enables them to progress in leaps and bounds, which has consistently been reflected in my students' improved results. I have a strong academic background, having achieved straight A*s at A-level, and I am keen to push my students to do the same!

An understanding of the fundamentals of Chemistry is integral to progression in the GCSE, and I focus on both building this and stretching my students’ understanding in order to reach for those higher grades.
Every lesson I teach is tailored to my students' needs, which I am skilled at identifying. I work to find and solidify pressure points within the curriculum, using the relevant exam board's specification as a checklist. I incorporate regular exam question practice into lessons, a practice that is particularly crucial to Chemistry.
I am also happy to teach the GCSE as a more holistic package, with experience teaching Biology and Physics at this level.

Nina has enthusiasm and knowledge galore and is excited to share both with her students. She approaches each student on an individual basis, meeting them where they are, and does her best to help them achieve to the best of their abilities. Nina is skilled at teaching a wide variety of subjects, from English Literature to Biology, and a wide range of ages, from primary school through to A-level. Nina is friendly and approachable and her students have greatly enjoyed working with her. I can confidently recommend Nina as a Superprof.
