About Linda

I have been tutoring struggling students in reading and writing since 2010. I have tutored about 50 students. My students have increased their reading comprehension from below grade level to grade level in 90 percent of the time.

About the lesson

I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and I am a certified ESE teacher. This past year I worked with K-1 students in an inclusion setting in a local charter school. Many of my students had IEP's. I love working one on one with my students because they get a lot more individual attention that they need and I can structure the lesson with what the individual student needs to work on to be successful.

Ms Linda have been amazing. She is very organized ... it showed from our first consultation. She is great with my daughter and is able to come up with fun activities to keep my daughter focused and interested.. My daughter was at great level but needed some extra help. I can hardly believe the improvement in her ready and fluency. Ms. Linda has been very flexible and accommodating for us. Will definitely recommend and will return in July.

Hello. I am an experienced certified ESE teacher. My focus is ELA and I support early and struggling readers. I use an Orton Gillingham method for my students that have dyslexia. I am also very familiar with students that have ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. I design my lessons to fit the students' individual needs. I offer a free phone conversation and a free live online assessment which will give me an idea of where to start with your child.
