About Lorraine
I’m an experienced childbirth educator and perinatal support practitioner with many years of experience supporting expectant parents and families. I believe that good childbirth education should leave you feeling informed, capable and prepared, rather than overwhelmed by information or frightened by birth stories.
My approach is practical, supportive and completely non-judgmental. I’ll help you understand your options, prepare for different possibilities and feel more confident about communicating your preferences and making informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, birth and early days with your baby.

My childbirth education sessions are relaxed, practical and completely tailored to you. We’ll cover the things you actually want to understand, including labour, birth, pain relief, interventions, birth preferences, informed decision-making and how your partner can support you. Sessions are a safe space to ask questions, talk through concerns and explore your options without judgement. My aim is to help you feel informed, prepared and confident, whatever your birth experience may bring.
