About Rebecca
I have degrees in English, Geography, and Nursing. I was an adjunct instructor at a small university in KS for four years where I taught English composition and freshman literature survey courses. For the past 12 years, I furthered my education in nursing and have worked in the nursing field. I am now retired and am looking for an opportunity to use my English education to assist others.

I have my students write a short essay on any subject of their choosing so I can get an idea of their reading and writing skills level. Then I meet them where they are and take them further. The key to keeping a student's attention is to use his or her interests and goals for learning.
