About Marielle
Hello! I'm an educator based in Dubai with 7 years of experience working with children in international schools, particularly within the American and British curricula.
I hold a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham and a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to support students with different abilities, learning styles and backgrounds, including English language learners and children who need additional learning support.
What I love most about teaching is seeing a child go from saying "I can't do it" to "I did it!" I believe that learning should be enjoyable, meaningful and, most importantly, a positive experience for every child.
I'm a patient, understanding and encouraging educator who believes that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support.
Whether your child needs help catching up, building confidence, strengthening their academic skills or taking their learning to the next level, my goal is to help them feel supported, capable and proud of their progress.

I believe every child learns differently, which is why I make sure my lessons are personalized, engaging and suited to each student's learning needs, abilities and pace.
With 7 years of experience in education, a PGCEi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education, I have worked with students across different age groups, abilities and learning backgrounds, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners and students who need additional learning support.
**My approach to tutoring includes:**
- **Personalized learning:** I begin by identifying each student's strengths, areas for improvement and learning goals.
- **Building strong foundations:** I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorizing answers.
- **Interactive lessons:** I use games, visuals, practical activities and guided practice to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
- **Confidence building:** I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
- **Progress monitoring:** I regularly review students' understanding and adjust lessons based on their progress.
I offer English, Math and Science tutoring for students from KG to Grade 8, including support with reading comprehension, writing, grammar, phonics, homework, school assessments and MAP preparation.
Lessons typically last **60 minutes** and are tailored to each student's needs.
My goal is not just to help students improve academically, but also to help them become more confident, independent and motivated learners.
