About Emma
I am an economics and business studies student in my final year of my second bachelor's degree at university, and am going on to complete a Masters degree in economics.
I have 6 years of experience within the financial industry, and have provided tutoring on a one-to-one basis for my fellow students within Economics, secondary school students in both Economics and Business Studies, and also some primary school students in mathematics.

I prefer to teach a syllabus based on each student's needs, through establishing any struggles or even particular interests of each person. I am patient, understanding, and like to provide content in a manageable, real life context, making sure that the "boring" theory is applicable to each student's life, in a way they can fully understand.
I prefer not to use tests to establish a student's abilities in the personal tutoring, but am consistent with enabling students to pass their formal exams and assessments in a school or university setting. I achieve this by providing a relaxed learning environment, and understanding each student's personal goals and needs within academia.
