About Jess
I am a first-generation student from an impoverished background who had to drop out of high school to support my family financially. I was always the smartest student in my classes growing up, and I loved learning, so I knew I couldn't stop there. Determined to attend university, I passed the GED in three days' time and enrolled in community college, where I graduated with my AA in psychology in 2023. I then transferred to the University of Central Florida, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology in May 2025. I am currently a Master’s student at UCF studying Clinical Psychology on the Thesis track. My story is a proud one that I believe proves that anyone can achieve their educational goals through a little hard work and determination. I am here to support students from every walk of life because everyone deserves a fair chance to live their dreams.

I focus on helping students understand concepts, not just finding answers. Mathematics is all about logic and patterns, and once a student is able to identify those patterns, they will be able to find solutions independently! My goal is to help students build their confidence and motivation for success. I teach students of all ages, and I am also a licensed RBT and can work with students with higher support needs. My philosophy is that learning is for everyone—all you need is the right tools and a positive mindset!
