About Mackenzie
Hi, my name is Mackenzie!
I started my own tutoring business in January as I was going into my last year of high school. Little did I know what 2022 would entail.
Over the course of the year, I learnt to balance my school work with my business and many other personal events and obstacles. These difficult times contributed greatly to the business owner and educator I have become. I believe strongly that mental health comes first -- before school. I believe that grades do not define a student's personal or academic success. I hold creativity and personality core to my business -- without it, it would not function. Rapport is everything and my relationship with students is key to their growth.
I completed my last three years of school in a distance, correspondence environment. This experience provided me with a unique insight into the realities of online learning that I carry with me in my educational practice.
I love my job with my whole heart and I am privileged to work with such amazing people each and every day.
