About Syed
I bring over 10 years of experience in the education sector, having worked with both children and adults across diverse age groups in India, the UAE, and Thailand. For the past five years, I have been teaching Russian students settled across different parts of the world through an online Russian school, which has further strengthened my skills in virtual and cross-cultural instruction.
I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and have achieved a TOEIC score of 990/990. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. Beyond my role as an English teacher, I have actively worked with children as a Photography Trainer and as a Cricket and Softball Coach, which has helped me connect with learners in holistic and creative ways.
I have conducted extensive Photography Workshops, English Clubs, and Book Clubs for children, and have facilitated a range of cultural and co-curricular activities, including theater productions, voice and oratory coaching, spelling bees, and collaborative projects. Additionally, I have volunteered with NGOs supporting underprivileged children across the country, an experience that has been deeply enriching both personally and professionally.
I find working in education both fulfilling and inspiring, which is why I consciously chose this path over a corporate career. I am deeply passionate about the creative arts—especially photography—and enjoy integrating creativity into my teaching practice. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s smile when learning truly clicks.
