About Isolde
As a native German speaker who once learned English as a second language, I truly understand how challenging and sometimes frustrating the process can be. That experience shapes how I teach today. I focus on encouragement, practical communication, and building real confidence.
I have over two years of teaching experience in classrooms and online, working with students of different ages and backgrounds. I hold a Master’s degree and have always been passionate about languages and writing. My background in customer service and passion for travel has strengthened my ability to connect with people from different cultures. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to speak and grow.

I have extensive experience teaching English as a second language in Asia, working in a preschool with children ages 3-5, with teenagers ages 12-16 in a middle school, as well as adults in professional settings. Teaching young children taught me patience, creativity, and how to make learning engaging and fun. With teenagers and adults, I focus on practical communication skills so students gain real confidence in speaking.
My lessons go beyond grammar drills. I use conversation, real-life scenarios, and interactive exercises to help students think and respond naturally. I believe language is learned by using it, not just studying it. My goal is to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to improve.
