About Harvey
I have 10 years teaching experience and returning to teaching from 2 years working in the private sector. I retrained from PDHPE to Physics so have a good grasp (and memory) of the challenges that face Physics learners. I was awarded the Premier's Teachers Scholarship in 2010/2011 which allowed me to arrange a fully funded international study tour focusing on cutting edge nuclear physics.

I believe that everyone can grasp and apply the concepts of Physics as we are all experienced in the day to day of it. I use everyday examples as the base of conversation and then build up the abstract complexity. Repetition, clarity and conversation summarises my approach to teaching.
