About Moana Marie-Lisa
I am an educator with 9 years of experience in the school environment, including 6 years as a teaching assistant and 3 years as a librarian in an international-school setting. My experience has given me a strong understanding of students' learning needs, literacy development and the importance of creating a supportive learning environment.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) to further develop my teaching knowledge and skills. I am passionate about helping students improve their English, strengthen their reading and comprehension skills, and become more confident learners.
I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging and tailored to each student's needs. Through my online lessons, I aim to make learning approachable and meaningful, helping students develop their abilities at their own pace while building a strong foundation for future learning.

My Teaching Approach and Methodology
My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive and engaging. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual learning needs, abilities and goals.
I use clear explanations, guided practice, examples and interactive activities to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize answers. For English lessons, I focus on building vocabulary, grammar, sentence construction, reading comprehension and writing skills. I encourage students to ask questions, practice independently and learn from their mistakes in a positive environment.
Typical lesson length: 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's needs and attention span.
Qualifications and experience: I have 9 years of experience working in a school environment, including 6 years as a teaching assistant and 3 years as a librarian. I currently work in an international-school setting and am pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
Who my lessons are for: Primary-school students who want to strengthen their English language skills, improve reading comprehension, develop literacy skills and build confidence in their learning.
All lessons are conducted online, making learning convenient and accessible from home. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged, supported and motivated to improve.
