About Bernardo
I am a medical doctor, nursing professor, and experienced tutor dedicated to helping nursing students succeed with confidence. With years of clinical and teaching experience, I understand how challenging nursing school can be and provide clear, supportive guidance tailored to each student’s needs. I have taught and mentored hundreds of RN and RPN students, consistently helping them improve their grades, clinical reasoning, and self-confidence. My background in medicine and my multiple certifications allow me to bring realistic clinical insight into every lesson. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish and committed to creating a professional, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where students feel supported and empowered.

My Approach as a Tutor
As a medical doctor and nursing professor, I use an evidence-based teaching approach that draws on my clinical experience and real-life case studies to make complex concepts clear and practical. My lessons connect anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and health assessment to help students build strong clinical reasoning and link all areas of their nursing knowledge. Each session begins with key concepts, applies them through interactive case analysis, and ends with guided critical thinking exercises to enhance decision-making in real-world settings.
I have successfully supported and taught dozens of nursing students (RN/RPN level) at both college and university, helping them gain confidence, improve grades, and excel in clinical practice. My background as a physician and my certifications in ACLS, BLS, and ABLS allow me to bring authentic clinical insight into every lesson. I am fully bilingual (English–Spanish) and can provide tutoring in either language, adapting my methods to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
