About Iago
I'm a supportive and friendly, calm, and experienced Native-English tutor currently living in London. I'm invested in your language journey, and always adapt to your specific goals, learning style, and language level.
My hobbies and passions are literature and writing, music, films, and politics - but I'm happy to talk about a huge range of topics and ideas: I love meeting new people, sharing our different cultures and interests, and am very easy to talk to.
My background in academia, media, and journalism means I'm also very interested in supporting people with English for both academic and business contexts.
I'm LGBTQ+ and welcome all students regardless of background.

As well as being a certified, Native-English tutor, I have an Undergraduate and Master's Degree from LSE and UCL in London, as well as a professional background in UK journalism and media production. This means I'm in a great position to support you with both Academic and Business English, job and university interviews and applications, and essay/assignment proofreading.
