About Shivam
I am a Master's student in Physics at the University of Nottingham, with an interest in quantum matter and solid-state physics. I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate
Growing up, I had always been curious about how the natural world works. I became passionate about finding the answers to why things work, and I came to realise that the best way to understand is through physics and the language of mathematics.
I want to share my joy for STEM with others and hope to garner the same curiosity in my students.

Students will get a true, fundamental understanding rather than the memorisation of words, labels, or complex jargon.
I have taught large groups through the Institute of Physics and individuals privately; I teach up to A-level Mathematics and Physics and can do up to 2-hr lessons.

Very professional tutor with an easy to get along with personality. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Definitely recommend!
I highly recommend shivam as a GCSE & A-levels maths tutor. His friendly demeanor and ability to explain complex topics in really simple ways made the learning process enjoyable and stress free.
I was a student of Shivam’s for a year and he really helped me with my A Level maths. I went from a C from the beginning of year 13 to an A* in the actual exam.
