About Shayla
I am a recent graduate of Eastern Michigan University, with my bachelor's in Creative Writing, and Arts and Entertainment Management. I'm currently interning at Inside Out Literary Arts, with a program called City Wide Poets. This would be a new venture for me, but with the experience I've gained from my internship and the love I have for poetry, I believe I could make a great impact.

My lessons would be catered towards students in the middle school to high school range. We would do writing workshops that consist of discussing current events, poems that relate to them, and a writing portion to express how everyone feels.
