About Piyushi

I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics within the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). My professional journey has been deeply rooted in creating meaningful, student-centered learning experiences that align with international education standards. As a teacher, I bring a structured yet flexible approach to every session. I am well-versed in the IB philosophy, curriculum planning, and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners from Grade 1 to Grade 5. My goal is always to build not just academic skills, but also confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning in my students. I maintain high standards of professionalism, including consistent communication with parents, timely feedback, and a commitment to each child’s individual progress. With a strong foundation in pedagogy and a calm, nurturing presence, I create a space where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered to reach their potential.

About the lesson

With over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics in the IB PYP framework, I specialize in helping young learners from Grade 1 to Grade 5 develop strong foundational math skills with confidence and curiosity. I hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and bring both professional expertise and a deep understanding of child-centered learning approaches.

My lessons are:
• Tailored to Your Child’s Needs – Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or simply a boost in confidence, I adapt each lesson to suit their learning style and pace.
• Rooted in IB PYP Philosophy – I use inquiry-based methods that encourage students to ask questions, explore concepts, and make real-world connections.
• Interactive and Engaging – Through hands-on activities, visual tools, and everyday examples, I make math meaningful and fun.
• Supportive and Patient – I create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, learn, and grow.

Why choose me? Because I’m not just here to teach math – I’m here to inspire a lifelong love for learning.
