About Harry
I am a Biology graduate, with seven years’ experience teaching in Secondary Schools. Science has been a passion my entire life, and I convey this enthusiasm into all my teaching. Whilst I specialize in Biology, I have experience of successfully teaching all three sciences to GCSE level. I have a proven track record of being able to effectively tailor learning to individual pupils needs, and accelerate their progress towards, and above, their target grades. I have an in-depth knowledge of Science curricula and specifications, allowing me to deliver teaching/tutoring as part of a spiral, integrated curriculum.

With my experience teaching a wide variety of pupils of different ages, abilities and individual needs, I am able to plan teaching to suit the learning needs of any student. I plan my online tutoring around a mixture of different resources, mainly Powerpoints and direct instruction. A theme that underpins all of my tutoring is developing student's confidence in successfully answering all types of assessment questions; exam/assessment style questioning features in every tutoring session I lead. While I am confident to plan sequences of learning for students I tutor, I am also highly flexible to respond to the specific learning needs of students.
