Experienced Spanish university lecturer | GCSE & Higher Spanish | Adult learners | Conversation, grammar & exam preparation

I first met Maria at a book club where I shared how I was worried about not being able to take group language lessons because of my sight loss.

After we spoke for a while she explained that she gave online private lessons and will be willing to take me on as her student. Maria was so kind and patient with me and before we started our first class she asked me how she could make her classroom and online class more accessible for me. This proved to me that she was a teacher who cared about her students.

From that class until now, I always felt included in the sessions and I have learned tremendously. I would highly recommend Maria if you want to enhance and elevate your Spanish. I am super excited for my next class.

Mar is an amazing teacher with a passion for what she does. Always full of energy with new lesson ideas. As for the lessons themselves, she is always well prepared and you can see that she wants her students to learn as good as possible.
Since Lockdown pushed a large number of teachers to do lessons remotely, Mar has adapted very well to this. She perfectly knows the software she uses, supports her lessons with many materials, knows a lot of facts and curiosities about Spain itself and its culture. I must emphasize that she uses good quality equipment, excellent audio and video quality.
What's funny, when she teaches me Spanish, she is perfectly familiar with the English language and speaks almost without any accent - it's super easy to understand what she means, and it's easy for me to repeat everything.
What more can I ask for!

Mar has been tutoring me online for over a year and she has helped me improve massively with my Spanish. Mar is a very friendly and professional tutor who uses a wide range of activities in our classes, which makes the learning very engaging and enjoyable. She is a very patient tutor who can explain complex Spanish grammar in an accessible way, which has greatly improved my understanding of the language. Mar is also very organised and she has always been very adaptable to suit my schedule and needs. I would very much recommend Mar to anyone looking to improve their Spanish!

I have been learning Spanish with Mar for a few years she’s a truly wonderful tutor!
Her English is perfect so she could explain really clearly in terms of the similarity and differences between Spanish and English, which I found extremely helpful especially when comes to learn grammar.
She’s always very patient and happy to explain a concept with various examples until the students are fully understood, I found this is really helpful especially for new learners so they can build up their confidence very quickly and never feel shy to practice with her.
Finally she has such a lovely personality which makes the learning journey a good fun！
