About Saya
I started tutoring 4 years ago, because I wanted to create an experience focusing on a student's needs and goals. I craft each session to your specific focus areas while integrating your learning style. If you're willing to work hard, I will provide you the tools and mentorship for success.
I absolutely LOVE helping a student reach their goals! It is so fulfilling when the hard work that he/she has invested in the test pays off. That moment of absolute gratification and excitement at seeing a student's hard work materialize is hands down the greatest feeling!
3 years of tutoring experience and has worked with over 30 test prep students and over 50 students of varying grades/subject areas.

Initially, we start with creating a tailored plan depending on a student's goals. Then, I start teaching strategy and content based material. Finally, we phase into practicing authentic ACT/SAT material. In this stage, we will review mistakes together and discuss how to improve in future practice.
My biggest piece of advice is find a tutor who is invested in your success and is a resource that you feel comfortable communicating with. The tutor is there to help you, and you want to be in an environment that promotes growth.
