About Megan
My clarinet lessons are designed to meet the individual needs of the student. Students learn how to play, become better musicians, and have fun! I provide flexible hours and will travel to students or teach out of my home studio.
I earned my doctorate in clarinet performance have been teaching in the NY/NJ area for the last 10 years. I am on faculty at several music schools in addition to my own private studio. I also perform in various orchestras and broadway shows in the area.

The first lesson is a great time to get to know the student and what he or she wants to get out of lessons. I assess strengths and weaknesses and from there we come up with a plan of how to acheive goals, including specific music and exercises we will work on.
All types of students. I have had everything from the very very beginner, to the unversity student, to retirees who finally have time to explore their love of music.
