About Anika
Along with prepping academically and successfully, I want my students to develop a strong work ethic as well as strong study habits that go beyond my time with the student. Learning is a continuous path and I do not want it to end for my student after our sessions. Throughout high school, I have been faced with countless scheduling conflicts, officer positions, and AP courses and I ended in the top 10% of my class. I started tutoring students from middle school and high school during my Sophomore year of high school and I saw huge improvements in my students. I have helped C-students to become A-students alongside improving their academic habits. As a current Freshman in college, I understand the difficulties of all schooling and hope that I can give back to others who are going through it in these tough times no matter the age.

In high school, I often found myself helping my friends study for tests or understand concepts and soon realized my love for helping. Education should be something that is encouraging, though many students are discouraged when they struggle and I want to fix that. As soon as I got my license, I began to tutor in my community and it was my favorite extracurricular.

I have worked with students primarily in middle school and high school, though I am not opposed to students who are younger!
Looking for a teacher is the first step towards improvement! This already means that the student is willing to ask for help and this is the biggest obstacle to overcome when you are not satisfied academically.
