Why should you hire me?

1. I look forward to getting to know you and/or your child and to help y'all reach your full potential, goals and dreams.

2. I try to, not only show them how to better players, but better people also.

3. My mission is to pass along my skills, experience and love of the game to anyone regardless of their skill or financial situation.

4. I teach the fundamentals to kids who are either new to baseball, want to improve their game or those wanting to polish up their skills to advance to the next level.

5. Let me share the lessons I learned and experience that I have gained throughout a lifetime of playing and/or coaching baseball. I've been in and around the game my whole life. Playing rec. ball, travel ball, High School, and college at Southern Tech. Plus, 3 MLB tryouts and 1 MLB winter camp.

6. I enjoy seeing the kids have fun while learning the game. Ultimately having fun (safely) is the most important thing. It was true for me and I've seen it prove itself time and time again that kids learn more, play harder and produce better results when they are having fun.

7. I try very hard to get to know each player and how best to coach that kid. All kids learn differently and respond best to different coaching styles and motivations. You will not get a cookie cutter training plan. I will form a customized coaching strategy that will be constantly evolving to provide the best possible results.

8. I am easy to work with and have flexible hours, fees and payment arrangements to fit ever need.

I started coaching my oldest son in T-ball. I found I truly enjoyed it. Now that both my boys are done with baseball, I've decided to coach others, plus it allows me to stay in baseball. I love the game and love teaching it to others.

I've been playing or coaching the game all my life. I started in T-ball at 4 years old. Since then, I played rec. and travel ball until high school. Many years I played rec in 2 different cities. Playing year around, spring, summer and fall.

I lettered in varsity baseball in all 4 years of high school. Named to the All-district team all 4 years( twice as a reserve and twice as a starter) and twice to the All-state team in Georgia (once a reserve and as a starter my senior year).

I then went on the play 2 years of college ball at Southern Tech.

I was invited to 4 Major Leagues tryouts but never quite made the cut. Since then I've played off and on with a few adult league teams.

Coached for baseball since 2003 and counting, at various levels of youth baseball. Mostly rec ball from T-ball to Jr. league. Assistant coach at an elementary and a middle school in Georgia.

Evaluate each player to devise a plan to best meet each player's individual goals. Teach the fundamentals through tried and true methods and drills I've learned throughout my playing and coaching career. I try to get to know every student enough to know how they best learn and what they hope to achieve. Whether it be a career or just casual rec ball.

Kids from 4-18, from T-ball to High School plus a few adults. The majority of my experience, and who I enjoy most, has been with kids 15 and under. Their skill levels have ranged from never played with little natural talent, to serious players trying to prepare themselves for a career in baseball.

1. Be honest with your coach and yourself about you/your child's goals and realistic expectations. Being honest with your coach, but more importantly with yourself, about you\your child's current skill level is the first and most important step toward reaching your goals and being more successful.

2. Make sure that your coach has the experience and/or background to help you reach your goals.

3. Remember that for the 1st few sessions, as the coach is evaulating you, you should be evaluating the coach.

4. Remember that, in most cases, most of your pratice time will be spent away from your coach, at home. Be willing to put forth the effort on your own. How much you get out of the lessons greatly depends on how much you put in.

2022 10u All-Star Manager & being President of Transylvania Little League. Coaching the 2018-19 Translyvania County 10 and under All-Stars and 2017-18, 12 and under All-Stars.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What are you/your child hoping to achieve?

2. How much time and effort are you truly willing, and able, to put into practice? Both on the field and at home. Understand that making it to high school, college and beyond will be a lot of hard work and it will not be easy, regardless of your current ability and past success. That doesn't mean you can't have fun along the way. If that is your goal you can achieve it and I will be happy to help you get there.

3. Are you willing and able to trust your coach and do what they have instructed? I truly believe that anyone can reach their goal with proper instruction and a good work ethic.

4. You cannot ask to many questions. Encourage your child to ask any questions they have.

FREE 1 time evaluation. (Gas mileage may apply)    *If you have video you can send me, it may be used in lieu of the evaluation to save on travel expenses and time.

1 time $25.00 per session. Each session is approximately 1 hour. (non-refundable)

*rates are negotiable if financial situation requires it

If traveling to you:

Less than 25 miles - travel fee may be applicable and is negotiable.

Over 25 miles - travel fee will be added and will need to be negotiated. **Gas money may be negotiated depending on situation.

$0.00 gas money if you come to me. We will be at the Translyvania County Little League fields.

Otherwise, I work for tips/donations. However much, if any, you think it's worth and you can afford. I believe that proper personal coaching should be available to all kids, regardless of skill level or financial situation.

Unfortunately I can't guarantee results as success has as much to do with the student as it does the coach. It is a partnership that requires dedication on both parties.

* Small groups may be possible depending on situation and rates will be negotiated.

¹Over 15: Prices may vary depending on needs and situation.

² All rates MAY be negotiable depending on situation.
