About Joe
We are the leaders of Basketball Skills training in the Phoenix East valley. We don't have teams, so there's no politics in what we do...
We will work with you and your child to get them the necessary skill development that they need to achieve the success that they want. We really go indepth with what we do, so the player not only understands how to execute a skill, but when & why would they do it.

We got started teaching by working with our own kids and then growing that experience as they grew, all the way up to the High School level...
We have coaches that have played in College and also coached at the High School level, as well as coached at elite invitation only camps for Adidas and Nike!

Our new students get to come into our "Regular" training session and try it out for FREE. We'll evaluate them during this time and this will give them a real taste for how the training will be for them.
We've worked with beginners, all the way up to the Professional level.
Get to know the teacher! There are all different styles of teachers out there, but also get to know them and the level they're able to teach at.
Not all coaches/teaches are equal and you need to find the one that is the best fit for you!
PS: Don't just fall for the "Flash In The Pan", wow stuff! Dig into the coaches credentials/background to really find out how qualified they are!

Coach Joe and Coach Michael are both very knowledgeable and good communicators. They bring good energy to every workout session. The workouts are challenging and have a good mix of fundamentals and advanced drills.
Joe has been so incredible with our son. He is so positive and knowledgeable. He motivates our son and has really built up his confidence with his skills. Joe's advice/lessons have improved his game, stamina, agility and consistency tremendously. We are very impressed with DeRosier Academy and highly recommend them to all!
My son has been attending the DeRosier basketball academy since July 2017. Coach Joe and Mike do a great job of challenging the kids through many different basketball drills including ball handling, footwork and shooting form. They take the time to demonstrate the drills and always coach the kids through their mistakes.
Joe is a great resource and understands how to teach good fundamentals of Basketball. He also has a calm teaching approach that helps the kids excel!
I have two boys who have worked one on one with Joe and also continue to participate in group training. They love the encouraging atmosphere and receive great training! I have always felt valued and so have my boys.

Details
Our pricing is based on each player purchasing a package of sessions. These sessions are then used when the player is available to come in. So, it's like a punch card system and once you have purchased a package, you have 1 year to use them before they expire!
They can also decide that they want to work 1 on 1 with coaches and we provide for that also!
