Experienced tutor in Basketball in Vallejo, Johnny offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I took my son to JM Skills Academy to develop his game. Johnny was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. My son now has a positive attitude towards basketball and loves the game now. My son continues to stay in constant contact with Johnny for pointers involving his shooting and dribbling. Johnny is a real good role model and has help my son on and off the court. Thank you Johnny!!!

Great environment training kids, and giving them a foundation of discipline and fundamentals. Equipping them with a strong foundation in discipline, fundamentals, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Johnny is such a great role model for his young clients. He shows great patience with my son as a young trainer. He is very good at teaching the fundamentals and slowly increasing the difficulty with every session. I would highly recommend Johnny to anyone whose son or daughter needs training!

My kid has been having a great time working with him! I have brought him to seven sessions now, and I can already him improving. Since my son is 9 and just started playing basketball, I asked Coach J to work with him on the fundamentals- mainly ball handling and lay ups. Coach J has done just that. My kid tells me he thinks these workouts are making him better and that he has fun. I definitely recommend taking your kid here, he can works with various age groups as well. Also, from a price standpoint, booking with him is a steal compared to other trainers I have went to!

JM skills academy was very helpful and professional. Communication skills was A1, i Highly recommend.

Extremely patient when it comes to teaching his client. He focuse on the fundamentals and gradually improves with every session. Truly an amazing coach/trainer for his age. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone who needs a trainer for themselves or their kids!!

He trained my kid at my school and we are locals from Napa ! Best ever, my kid never felt so confident. Wish nothing but the best for this young man

We’re a family in the Napa area and my son Thomas always struggled with bringing up the ball and his shot selections. I decided to bring him to bring him to a college basketball game at Pacific Union College so he can learn from more mature guards and that’s when we noticed Johnny Hoang. I decided to reach out to him afterwards and it turns put he had his own training program and signing up my son was a no brainer for me. Johnny’s been such a great trainer, his patience with my son and other kids, respect towards the parents, the level of professionalism aligns perfectly with the personality he adds to the environment. My son’s confidence in basketball has been boosted ever since and even Johnny’s dedication rubbed off on my son as well. Overall great experience. If you have a child looking to mature their game to the next level I recommend signing them up before he gets too booked!

My son is a beginner, I loved how he really took time with my kid I feel like right now what he needs is someone who is willing to perfect the little details with him. And that’s exactly what Johnny does.
