About Marc
I have trained and fought in Muay Thai for over 20 years. I want to further the art and pass on the teachings as they were handed down to me by my instructors. Whether it is for competitive purposes, learning the art, self-defense and/or getting a great workout, my goal is to make individuals a better version of themselves everyday by having them do what they once thought was impossible.

I have worked and started various Muay Thai and MMA programs in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and here in Washington.
Seeing how people start to love the art and really immerse themselves in Boxing and Muay Thai brings me great joy. I am love seeing people become better versions of themselves everyday. My main focus is not the physical, but the mental strength, clarity and vision that my students achieve. The physical aspects (muscle tone, self-defense, sport fighting competency) is just the icing on the cake.

To begin with, I inquire what the student's goals are and what they wish to accomplish by training with me. I would actually have them come with these goals and objectives written down for the 1st lesson. Typically, I have the student warmup, then perform the basic movements of muay thai/kickboxing/boxing through shadowboxing. Once I get a visual of what I am working with, then I look to "clean up" the techniques. Make them "tighter" and more efficient. I do not look to change one's style, but rather to work with it. I seek to build upon a student's strengths and help them develop so as to improve upon their weaknesses.

Very specialized training, from a coach that genuinely cares about those he trains. He goes above and beyond when breaking an individual down, expressing what their needs are, and then, most importantly, delivers on these needs as best he can. He made me feel the most prepared I had ever felt for a fight, both physically and mentally. Would highly recommend training here.
I appreciate the respect for the art and the time given to break down technique. Staying true to traditional Thai style is important to me, but I also respect that he has knowledge in other fields that translate well into what we are learning and how I want to grow as a martial artist. In the 6 months working with the coach I have learned more than I have in two years in Muay Thai. Quality teaching at its finest!
