About Solape
English has been my favorite subject for as long as I can remember. I am currently a a rising sophmore at Lafayette College. I have won awards for Excellence in Literature and Excellence in Englsih in middle school and honorable mentions for English and Creative Writing in high school. I really look forward to helping and improving children's grammer and language!
I love kids and before I started working with America Reads, I always used to help my little cousins with their school work. This is one of the reasons that I enjoy teaching kids, I love being the reason that they learned something new, and knowing that I played a role in teaching the future generation, is everything to me.
The training that I have had that relates to my work is working for the program America Reads through my college in Easton, PA. I worked with this program during both semesters of my freshman year and I tutored kids from 3-12.
