About Kari
CK Dance Academy is a Christian-based dance studio in Lincoln, NE, founded in 1995 as Club Kicks and owned by Kari Swanson Neth. The studio provides a positive, modest, and inclusive environment for dancers ages 2 through adult. Classes span hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, and contemporary, with options for recreational training and additional stage time through its company program. CK Dance Academy operates as a non-competitive studio.
Instructors bring post–high school education, with many holding degrees in dance or education and experience on collegiate and semi-professional teams. Faculty also perform with CK’s Christian Dance Ensemble at churches and ministry events.
Beyond weekly classes, the studio hosts mini sessions and parties, a spring recital, a Christmas show, a summer showcase, and seasonal dance camps. Students regularly perform in the community at events such as Lincoln’s Streets Alive, Gateway Mall, Lincoln Children’s Museum and Zoo, and Roca Berry Farm, and have traveled to Branson, Disneyland, and Disney World. CK Dance Academy serves families across Lincoln with structured instruction that builds technique, artistry, and confidence.
