About Andre
I am a verstalie freestyle dancer, choreographer, drummer and teacher encompassing styles hip hop, Afro-Brazilian, Contemproary and more. I spent 4-years at Eugene Lang College in New York City studying dance and 5-years performing professionally in on and off broadway shows. I teach dance to all level students and perform in the Bay Area, working primarily in Oakland/Berkely where i'm from.

I ensure your next party is lively by entertaining your guests and ensuring they are engaged and energized to dance. My performance level and ability to connect with people is unmatched from my 6-years performing professionally in New York City. I can clearly and confidently lead easy to follow moves that will bring guests of all ages together on the dance floor! I’m also trained in contemporary & ballet, breakdancing, capoeira and a lot of hip hop offering a wide range of genuine, graceful and athletic movements guaranteed to harness high energy at your next event.
Getting people out of their heads an in to their emotional bodies. I advocate for the power of movement to uplift, destress, heel, express gratitude and connect to people through musical rhtyhm. Life is to be celebrated and dance is one of the best ways to express while getting a great heart-pumping workout. Creating connection with yourself, loved ones and strangers ones. Movement is to be enjoyed and memorbal. Dance is for all!

I assess what styles of dance you're interested in learning. Inspirations can come from particular artists, videos you've seen etc. We can collaborate on a spotify playlist so you're also intorduced to new music. Set time and location at student's residence or TruveFit in downtown Oakland, which cost an extra $20 to rent the space.
